Project Success Perspectives
Strategic and Organizational Perspective
In our writing on project management and through our eBook Series, we discuss The Customizable and Adaptable Methodology for Managing Projects™, which includes our views on the strategic perspective for managing projects. For measuring project success, we also take a strategic approach at the organizational level.
What does this mean?
It means we do not limit our views to the project life span and we go beyond that, touching on the product life. In other words, we view the project as the business venture rather than the product that the project team produces before demobilizing.
Project Owner Perspective
In line with the above, we must emphasize that we view projects from the perspective of the Project Owner, not the perspective of the Service Provider.
